Ummah Welfare Trust was founded to challenge the huge poverty and injustice prevalent in the Ummah today. Inspired by the Islamic teachings of empathy and selflessness, the charity strives to support and uplift the impoverished through the beautiful act of charity.

Story

In the name of Allah, the most merciful, the bestower of mercy.

All praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds.

We seek His assistance and acceptance in all actions.

Our Mother, Rehana Ahmed passed away on 7th February 2016 after being diagnosed with advanced cancer only a short while before that. She was the most caring, kind, loving and giving woman i knew... I am not saying this becuse she is my mother but everyone who knew her only had positive words to say.

May Allah Forgive her sins, have mercy upon her, illuminate her grave and make it spacious. May He enter her into jannatul firdous and give her the greatest success of all... To meet her lord while he is pleased with her. Ameen

We are hoping to raise money to build water wells in different locations around the world which will be, by the permission of Allah a means of continuous reward for our beloved mother.

The wells will also be a means of benefit, ease and a life source for the less fortunate. Please donate generously as this will also be a means of blessings for you in'shaaAllah.

The prophet peace be upon him said "The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

May Allah accept it from us and from you
