Great Cumbrian Run 2017 · 1 October 2017 ·

The Angus McDonald Trust runs grassroots community healthcare projects in some of Burma's most challenging and vulnerable areas, working on HIV prevention and support; TB prevention and support; women-run micro-credit schemes; maternal and child-healthcare; and rural clinic building.

Story

Sunday 1st October is coming around quickly. I've done one run in the past 2 months after injuring my ankle playing football - but that will not stop muggins here running 13.1 miles for charity.

Keep digging deep your support has been fantastic so far.

The Angus McDonald Trust is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation specialising in finding community-based welfare solutions to the problems of poverty in some of Myanmar’s most challenging regions. They provide healthcare support for HIV and TB sufferers, and schooling and nutrition for affected children; they educate and raise awareness about treatment and prevention; and they empower patients and their families through voluntary training and micro-financing small business schemes.
