Story

The Treasurer to the Friends of Canterbury Cathedral is cycling 1,119 miles from Canterbury Cathedral to Santiago de Compostela for the Friends to raise funds for improvements to be made to the Tickell Chamber Organ which is used all year round by the Canterbury Cathedral Choir. This is to kick start the Friends' 90th Celebrations ahead of 2017.

The Friends help support the preservation and continuation of the fabric and liturgy of Canterbury Cathedral.

The Friends are the Cathedral's fan club. Admirers of the building, its history and its community, Friends are a part of the Cathedral and work together to preserve it for ever, contributing financially - and directly - to many individual and vital projects.
