Thank you for visiting our page. We are the UK’s leading charity helping people to thrive after a brain injury. We provide innovative rehabilitation and ongoing support to ensure life after brain injury can be a life well lived.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are a team of young students working with Concordia to fundraise money for a chosen charity though the Government run NCS scheme. We will be doing a weekend of fundraising activates; this will include cake sales and charity bucket donations. This would all lead up to a 10 mile hike in costumes from Worthing to Brighton. We will be doing random interactive challenges every mile of our walk.

These challenges will be fun and interesting for all ages. This will raise awareness of our cause and all the good things it does to improve the lives of people living with disabilities. Through technology and other ways of improving their lives. Through allowing them to interact with people outside of normal living pattern. This would really help with hand eye coordination and other fine motor skills.

One of our team members has a half brother called Taylor who was born premature and has several disabilities; including cerebral palsy and other problems with walking. When he was 4 he was given in iPad with really improved his hand eye coordination. This allowed him to play with a lot smaller things and really improved how he interacted with the world around. He improved his hand writing and has really brought on the improvements in speech though listening to apps and other games within it.
