We are a group of young people trying to support our local community, particularly other young people live ourselves. We have decided to support Signpost Stockport for our NCS social action week as we believe that the work that the charity does is really important.
For example, by providing young carers a creative outlet to express themselves and connect with others in a similar situation, they provide the amazing ability to relieve the stress that comes with the huge responsibility they face.
The work the charity does also gives young carers a voice and ensures that the work they do gets noticed, acknowledged and appreciated. This is why we have chosen to support the great work they do through a sponsored walk
