StreetDoctors trains young people affected by violence how to be lifesavers, including what to do if someone is bleeding or knocked out. Our movement of young healthcare volunteers empower 11-25 year olds across the UK to make more informed decisions & become StreetDoctors in their communities.

Story

What is the problem?

95% understand the medical consequences of violence. 93% know what to do if someone is bleeding. 91% know what to do if someone is knocked out 84% would be willing to act in a medical emergency

What are we doing about it?

The National Citizen Service has partnered with the Street Doctors . NCS is an organisation provides the youth with an opportunity to create and complete a social action project that aims to benefit their local community. A group of young people called 'Team 4' in this organisation has decided to fundraise for the Street Doctors so that those who are victims of knife crime can supported. The Street Doctors are a movement of young healthcare volunteers who 

For this project our slogan is 'Save lives, no knives' and by donating to this special charity, you can contribute to bettering the lives of others.
