We are a group of 14 young people aged 15-17 on the NCS program in Exeter. Our team, Stronger, have decided to raise money, but more importantly awareness, for domestic abuse and sexual violence. We have decided to promote the small, local charity First Light (based in Cornwall, Devon and Wiltshire) as they provide support for survivors of domestic abuse/sexual assault which is important to us as members of our group have been affected by this. 

We will be holding a sponsored 3 legged walk (approximately 10 miles) from Exeter Quay to Exmouth on Wednesday the 14th of August in aid of this. Throughout next week, we will be speaking to members of the public in Exeter High Street regarding the taboo topic. Our group will also be busking on Tuesday the 13th of August nearby vision express ( if you are around, please drop by! Some support would be much appreciated). We hope you will join us in supporting this amazing Charity and help to spread the word and break the silence in order to work towards a safer, happier and stronger community.
