Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In April 2010 four NFU Mutual colleagues from the Belfast Region Peter Fleming (Training Consultant), Brian Coulter (Area Manager), Glenn McKendry (Belfast Claims) and David Cairns (Area Manager) will be organising a charity triathlon in aid of the NFU Mutual chosen charity for 2010 - Make-A-Wish Foundation. They are also being joined in the challenge by Lawson Burnett, an agent from the Portadown agency.

The triathlon will commence with a number of employees completing 100 lengths of the local swimming pool, led by David. A four person cycling team will complete a number of relay legs between the agencies, starting and finishing at relevant locations in Northern Ireland.   The cycling element will also encompass all of the agency offices within the region. All the agencies in Northern Ireland are supporting the challenge through sponsorship and other fun activities.  Upon completion of the cycle event the same relay team members plan to finish off the event by running in the Stratford-upon-Avon Marathon on the 25th April 2010.
