When we moved to D&G 6 years ago we bought a brand new cottage in a tiny village. The garden was bare so we had to start from scratch. We had already decided we wanted to create a Bee Friendly garden, providing nectar for our pollinators. I also wanted to spread the word and encourage others to do the same. Not everybody realises how important the Bees are to us so I am trying to spread the word and show people how easy it can be. We have lots of fruit trees, herbs and wildflowers, but even if you only have a small garden you can grow some herbs in pots. 

I have been studying Herbalism to learn more about the benefits of herbs and recently started working as an Independent Consultant for Neal's Yard Remedies Organic. I now sell organic herbal remedies and skin care products. I am delighted to work for a company that has the same ethics, grow herbs organically and donate £10,000 a year to Bee Friendly Charities by selling their Bee Friendly range of products.
