Just a few weeks ago, my niece Nadia sadly lost her battle with leukaemia. She would have been celebrating her 5th birthday later this month.

In memory of our beloved Cousin, and in celebration of her birthday, my family will be taking part in the Leukaemia UK super hero run in Regent’s Park on 13th May - http://www.londonsuperherorun.co.uk. We did not get to spend as much time with Nadia as we would have liked (she lived in Australia) but in our brief times together we learnt that she had a deep love for dressing up so this seemed like an appropriate tribute to remember her at the time of her birthday. The cover photo that we have used here, was it turns out the last time we would see her alive in person before she was so abruptly taken from us (Nadia is the one in the princess dress).

Whilst we are taking part in this event primarily in celebration of the life of Nadia we are also taking the opportunity to try and raise some money for leukaemia UK, a charity who support families affected by leukaemia. We appreciate any donation you are able to make to this.
