A year ago today after being missing for 8 days the body of our Uncle James was found.

James had suffered a long and complex mental health journey but he had a big, caring heart and would always be in contact to check we were ok.

We have many unanswered questions and hate the thought of any other families having to go through this, so myself, Carly and our oldest children have decided to run the 5K Big Fun Run for MIND charity in memory of Uncle James.

If we can raise enough to help towards supporting just one person going through this horrible illness and prevent just one other family going through the heartache ours has then we'll be happy.

1 in 4 people experience a mental health problem each year, thousands of people are still out there struggling. MINDs mission is to provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
