Support the GABR mission that no basset is left behind!

2017, we were just looking for a new baby basset for our 8 year old basset hound.  A post came up on FB with a mom, dad, and four basset puppies as an owner surrender.  Guardian Angel Basset Rescue(GABR) named them after Peanuts characters.  Lucy is mom, Snoopy is dad, Charlie, Linus, Peppermint Patty and Marcy are the babies. I knew I wanted another male and immediately applied for one puppy.  I was so excited to get chosen for one.  We chose Charlie.  Since that first day of picking him up in Dwight, IL, he and I have had such a special bond.  He’s my boy and I’m so happy we have him!  We renamed his Johann Sebastian Bark and call him JoJo.  He is four years old and a complete love bug.

Guardian Angel Basset Rescue will be holding their waddle in Sept 2021.  We first went in 2019 with Humphrey & JoJo.  It was such a fun weekend and we can’t wait to see all the bassets again!
