Story

09.06.13

Can you believe it? When I was running in the race, often, i was worried one of the fast and impatience runners would knock me down. Instead, I was knocked down at the high st of Richmond.

On Tuesday noon, an Australian male Tourist slipped down the side of the pavement, fell on my left hip and i landed on my left knee. A fire engine stopped and the 3 staffs made me comfortable while waiting for the ambulance. Awarded to A & E department in Kingston Hospital. By 6-7 pm , the doctor confirmed that my left knee cap broke into 2 halves and I stayed a night in the hospital awaiting for operation the next morning. by stroke of luck, that moment, i could lift my leg up above the bed about an inch. So, the consultant in charge Dr Curtis agreed and my left leg is in cast and I walked with 2 crutches...this will take at least 2 months and Dr Curtis told me: you can't run on 14th July.

Within 24 hours-one moment i was in high on 3rd june..asking for more sponsors in facebook..on 4th i was hospitalised.

Sorry Sponsors-I let you down but, your donations still go for providing school shoes for those needed most.

bye for now as typing with laptop on my chest..not easy . time to take care.

love, nancy

Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!...my friends and relatives are much generous than me. I am indeed over the moon again.

Summer has began after the coldest May in 50 years in England. I hope to train more often this month as the race day 14 July is very very very close.

Thank you all for your support.

Great News that I raised another £40 and donated by Mr Adam Powell of A. P. Property Services International-Roofing Specialist.

Thank you.

Managed to ran out the 6th time this year. All plan to ran this morning was thrown out due to rainfall and obviously wet ground.

bye for now,

Note: Lim Chee Kian has sponsored me with £25.

My dearest Sponsors,

Another year that went so quick and we are into April 2013. This morning the sun was shining over Kingston and so I ran out-my first training this year. The wind was gentle and refreshing as I ran along the river bank -from Kingston to Hampton Court. Spring is definitely in the air as I was greeted by few pairs of Mallard Ducks swimming away, a pair of swans flying low above the water and geese lazing on the bank. Also, the sky was blue with few white clouds.

At Hampton Court, the visitors were in many groups. Children with their teachers or parents and the staffs of Hampton Court-dressed in costumes, entertained everyone with many of their delightful historical stories. I stopped and listened to a few. The wilderness gardens were covered by yellow tulips, purple/white corcuses. Buds, shoots appeared on some trees.

Have a good day!

nancy.

Dear Sponsors, Happy New Year 2013 and greetings from Singapore. I am writing from  a home I lived before I married.  It's hot and sweaty right at this moment.

I like to say we started off the year with generous thoughts and  generous donations from Bety-($120=60pds) and siok kuan. Thank you.

regards, nancy
