Story
For those of you who have known me for the 25 years that I have been Diabetic it may come as a surprise to hear that I am undertaking the London Marathon, "Naomi, I saw someone who looked vaguely like you running down the street, surely it couldn't be you?" If I can do it, then probably anyone can. However, I am not sure whether I am eating the pudding or being the pudding?
I am raising money for Diabetes UK in a not entirely altruistic way but in the hope that their research and work will continue to improve the lives of Diabetics. 25 years ago I started off giving myself insulin with a needle and vial and I now wear a life-changing and convenient little infusion pump.
So, if you could consider donating some money to Diabetes UK, I would be extremely grateful.
Many thanks.
