Mental ill health affects 1 in 4 of us in any given year, and a common mental health problem such as depression or anxiety will affect 1 in 6 of us this week. 

Mental health is just like physical health, it is something we all have; something that can be constantly changing and fluid. Mental ill health can affect any of us just like physical ill health can.

That’s why we’re running the Salford 10k for Mind in Salford, a local Mind organisation working to improve the wellbeing and mental health of local people to create lasting positive change in the community (Naomi also works there). All the money you donate will go directly to the people who need it most in Greater Manchester.
