On the 27th September the four of us set off on our epic trek to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. This is a trip we have wanted to do for a long time and have 100% funded the trip and all equipment from our own funds.

We thought it would be a great idea to combine our journey and raise funds for Kidney Research whilst enduring our climb to the summit. Kidney Research is a very worthwhile charity carrying out vital lifesaving research helping many peoples lives. Any money we raise will be given to help fund the research they carry out.

My father was the recipient of a Kidney transplant 20 years ago this year and has just celebrated his 80th Birthday! My uncle along with many other people is currently undergoing dialysis treatment, so I can testify that the vital work Kidney Research carries out does have a major positive impact on peoples lives.

Once again we have 100% funded the trek and equipment from our own pockets, all the money that is raised will go directly to Kidney Research.
