13 miles of torture and indignity...

2010 Cardiff Half Marathon · 17 October 2010 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have decided/was coerced by a very good friend of mine to put several months of aimless running to good use, and enrol for this years Cardiff Half Marathon.
I am not a natural runner, and it's been said (by the man in the running shop who sold me my trainers) that I'm a "flat footed pronator with the grace of a baby elephant and the breaking strain of a soggy kit kat" (ok, I made up the kit kat and elephant bit).
I am running for a very good cause, the James Whale Kidney Cancer fund - this is a fantastic charity which works to help individuals affected by kidney cancer through support, prevention and treatment.
Please, if you or someone you know has been touched by cancer, I would ask you to dig deep and support this fantasic cause.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
