Myself and Lyall are taking part in our first Triathlon on the 16th of April. We’ve decided to raise money for the amazing Space Centre. This is a fantastic facility for children and adults with all types of disabilities.  A place where they can go and experience a wonderful range of multi sensory activities that in every day life they can not access but regular children take for granted. 

My little brother Elliot was born with special needs, which means he is unable to sit, walk, talk or see. Despite this, he is the happiest boy in the world.

He has visited the space centre most weeks since we moved over to England and it is definitely one of his favourite places to visit (after visiting our Grannies house!).

Unfortunately a couple of months ago, we lost my Grannie, which has made this even more challenging for me as I know how much our Elliot meant to her. He was definitely her favourite grandchild, but never admitted it!

When we lived in Spain, my Mum and Papa set up an annual Triathlon to raise money for Elliot’s School over there, so it only seemed fitting for me to attempt my first Triathlon too!

I will be completing the triathlon in memory of my Grannie and Papa for Elliot and all the other amazing children and adults that visit The Space Centre.
