To celebrate my 21st birthday, I want to give something to others in gratitude for the life that I have been given. Our culture promotes greed and consumerism, contributing more and more to inequality in our society. I have all that I need right now, and that leaves me with a responsibility for others who have nothing. By sleeping rough for a night I hope to raise enough money to positively impact at least one persons life, whilst gaining a better understanding of what people have to suffer with daily. 

Homeless Oxfordshire is the main provider of accommodation for single homeless people across the county. Their aim is to provide a range of housing and high quality support that enables homeless people to have a safe space in which they can begin to take control of their own lives and to learn how to thrive. This includes a 24 hour hostel and over 28 properties in the local community. They help homeless people deal with the complex issues that led to them becoming homeless in the first place.
