We have been supporting a project based in the Quarterdeck in Margate for around 5 years now. It may even be more. Last year we started to deliver a difability ( I call it this as these young people are all unique and wonderful and have different abilities-besides I hate the word disability as its just not true) workshop on Thursday evenings. 

It's been incredible and it's beautiful to see all the young people engaging in music and smiling. Sadly the centre has not been successful in raising new funds.  But we M4C have secured some minor funding to keep us going and have also submitted various funding applications which we are awaiting the outcomes for. 

If we can hit our target here it will help us to continue to provide the service that has supported so many amazing young people.

One boy 14, who was initially on the fringes, finally built up enough courage after a few visits to sit with us and make some music. He really enjoyed the session and left inspired with a huge smile on his face.

Another boy 14, who doesn’t speak a great deal not only created a piece of music but when he took the microphone he didn’t stop talking. The Music and the moment took him on a journey, one of which I was so happy to witness.

The biggest outcome for ourselves and their key workers will be to see them happy and accomplished.

No matter how severe the disability, we will give all young people the chance to participate.

They are all on different levels. We do not exclude anyone and every child deserves the opportunity to have a go! 

We currently have 18 attending and between 6-10 engaging during the course of the session. Singing. Rapping. Creating music and more.

You have all helped me so much in the past and I know that all the young people would really appreciate your support.
