We are a male cancer awareness charity to support males affected by Cancer

Story

Back in October 2019 Callum was diagnosed with testicular cancer. An operation soon followed and the lump was removed, but the cancer had spread and now he is undertaking chemo therapy.

Callum is 21 years young and is in his 3rd year at City of Birmingham University, studying mechanical engineering. He has shown tremendous mental strength beyond his age since his diagnosis and continues to fight and battle this disease. We are so proud of the way he has faced this since his life was turned upside down and inside out. His studies are now on hold and he remains at home in Plymouth with the intention of returning to university to complete his degree.

To show our support Neal is going to shave his hair off in aid of a Dash of Silver and Karen will cut a minimum of 12 inches of hair and donate it to Little Princes Trust, who provide free real hair wigs for young people who have lost their hair through cancer. So Callum may end up with a wig of his mom's hair 🤔😆

Dash of Silver is named after its founder, Dan Silver whom bravely battled Testicular Cancer back in 2009. Dash of Silver are a Male Cancer Awareness charity that is based in Plymouth Devon. Dan believes that nobody should never have to wake up to the news they have Cancer or wake up news a loved one with Cancer. The team offer support through our monthly support group called Dashnet here in Plymouth where we offer support and advice to those Males affected by Cancer, whether it's personally, socially or emotionally. Also provide Care packs.

So if wish to see Neal looking like a new recruit again please feel free to donate to this very special charity. Thank you x
