Story
Hey, thank you for taking your time to visit my JustGiving page!
During the first week of July 2018, I will be skydiving for ‘The Little Things’ - a registered student-led charity that aims to improve the level of healthcare provided by hospitals in developing countries.
The charity has funded three projects so far:
- an eye clinic for St Elizabeth Hospital in Arusha,Tanzaniaa
- premature baby clinic for Kilinochchi District General Hospital, Sri Lanka
- and most recently, the charity has provided vital medical equipment for two Base Hospitals within the Northern Province of Sri Lanka
By skydiving, I will contribute to raising funds for the charity's fourth healthcare project: providing specialist cardiology and gastroenterology medical equipment for a hospital in Manthali, Nepal. The hospital serves a local population of 300,000 and is currently under-resourced and only offers basic medical services. This project can vastly improve healthcare for patients and subsequently their quality of life.
You can support me by donating through this JustGiving page. Once you donate, the money will be sent directly to the charity. It’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
*Also, make sure to click ‘yes’ to GIFT AID when donating – it will help the charity claim from the government an extra 25p for every £1 you give.
Thank you, I appreciate all the support
