Stirling Scottish Marathon 2018 · 29 April 2018 ·

We provide specialist palliative care to patients across Forth Valley, Cumbernauld & Kilsyth in the Hospice and in patients' own homes. We need to raise £16,637 every day and with your support we can help our patients to live well right up until the end of their life and make every moment count.

Story

You might have already caught a bit of me training on social media but yeah I'm running the Stirling marathon 🙉🤪

I started running 2 years ago with some teachers from work. Somehow we've all decided to run this year in the Stirling 2018 marathon.

I'm doing it for 2 reasons. Its great to get healthy and pretend Im not getting old. But the main reason is to raise money for Strathcarron Hospice. An amazing place and charity close to me , my family and a lot of my friends.

The hospice has supported so many people and families I know through tough times in ways people can almost never repay. My own family were supported through my mums battle with MS and I realized Strathcarron does so much that people need to give something back to keep this support going for all those who'll need it in the future.

My goal is to try and raise money by finnishing the marathon in April , hopefully without walking too much of it.

Thanks again for your support and encouragement. No donation is too small :) 🏃💪👊
