Story

Hi there! For some reason I'm cycling with from Taunton to Land's End starting on the 27th of April and (hopefully) finishing on the Bank Holiday on the 3rd May with what will probably be a very numb bum!

The ride is about 200 miles with some very steep hills along the way. We're camping out and strapping all our kit (tent, sleeping bags, stoves, frying pans, teapots, fluffy dice etc) to our bikes just to make it that little bit harder!

Seeing as though all this effort is being put in I thought it might be a good idea to try and raise some money for a good cause with a personal connection which is why I've selected the good people at the SOS!SEN to receive any money I can scrape together.

Here's all the reasons you need to support this charity written by someone who knows a lot more about it than me.

"If you support Neil's cash raising efforts there is a chance you could make a difference to a life.
Neil is raising money for SOS!SEN. This is a small charity that does amazing work for families fighting to get their children with special needs a basic education in a mainstream school. Local authorities try to screw these children over, thinking that so few people will take them on that overall they can save money. It is morally corrupt. Never mind the long term effect on the children their families etc etc. This is beginning to sound like a rant.

I am Neil's cousin (Richard), my eldest son has Down's Syndrome. He is a star. Max attends his local mainstream school where he is making quite an impression on all who meet him. Like I said he is a star.

He is only able to attend that school because of the help we received from SOS!SEN allowing us to take on the local authority. This support allowed us to win through the courts the education every child in this country deserves, no matter their learning difficulties or disability for our son.

Please support Neil's cash raising efforts.
It's simple you are giving another child a chance."

Please feel free to give any amount of money you can spare - it really will make a difference and it'll all be good karma after all!

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks,

Neil x
