John Muir Way. Helensburgh to Dunbar · 25 May 2019

Our activity calendar includes school holiday playschemes, weekly youth clubs, residential weekends and family fun days. A place where disabilities don’t matter, but where special needs are met and expectations exceeded. We’re all about making good things happen, even if those challenge the norm.

Story

On Sat 25th May along with some friends we will be attempting to cycle from the West coast in Helensburgh finishing in the East coast in Dunbar mostly following the route of the John Muir Way. Its a 112 mile cycle which we will complete in a day.

We're hoping to raise some much needed funds for the East Lothian Special Needs Playscheme. It's a charity close to my heart as my son Innes attends during the school holidays. It provides full day playscheme for children aged 5-16 who have a wide range of special needs/ disabilities. I've had first hand experience in seeing this place and some of the wonderful work they do. It's a place where my son can go and be himself, make friends, try new activities all without being judged and in a safe friendly environment.

Thanks for looking and any help towards this fabulous charity will be greatly appreciated.
