Story

Imperial Health Charity helps our hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering and fundraising. We fund major redevelopments, clinical research and medical equipment as well as helping patients and their families at times of extreme financial difficulty. We raise funds to support the five hospitals of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust: Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea, St Mary and Western Eye hospitals.

#SRILAHH is a exchange of people and ideas between Imperial College Renal and Transplant Centre and the renal community in Sri Lanka. We will be walking with this cause in mind. The generous support of our friends will carry us up and down the mountain and fund the journey between Sri Lanka and the UK for annual education and research trips. The funding will subsidise doctors and nurse and allied health professionals to meet each other and with "feet on the floor" share knowledge, expertise and experience at the Hammersmith Hospital, London and the Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital, Colombo. Nine in ten people with end stage renal failure in Sri Lanka struggle to get any renal replacement therapy and care...
