We support vulnerable families to give children a brighter future

Story

Nicola, Greg, Stuart, Clare and Stuart and his wife Barbara and 16 year old son Jesse are running the London 10K for the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund UK. Please help us to support this worthy cause.

Nelson Mandela Children's Fund was set up by Nelson Mandela to offer care, protection and support to the most vulnerable children in South Africa. Believing that every child has the right to a childhood free of abuse; NMCF works tirelessly to protect children by supporting their families and communities. NMCF in the UK fundraises for this vital work and is extremely grateful to the motivated and generous individuals and companies who make such an important contribution to the future of children in South Africa.

NMCF is the leading charity in South Africa and works in partnership with communities to ensure the safety and development of children. We are working hard to improve the conditions for children across the country and greatly appreciate all the support we receive, as we are completely reliant upon our supporters in order to develop our work.

Our mission is to 'Change the way society treats its children' to improve not only the quality of their lives now, but to ensure that they have a healthy and fulfilling future.

So please dig deep and donate now.

About the charity

Founded by Nelson Mandela in 1994, NMCF works to improve the lives of vulnerable children in South Africa with programmes that address HIV and Aids, disability, and that build confidence, self esteem and prepare young people for a healthy and productive future.
