The NeuroActiv group are completing a sponsored 164 km challenge to help raise funds to go towards a step machine in the gym to aid their rehabilitation.

The NeuroActiv group consists of approximately 30 people from the North Devon area with neurological conditions. The group has weekly physiotherapy led exercise sessions in a local gym to improve their health and symptoms following a neurological disorder diagnosis such as Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis or Stroke.

Starting on Wednesday 2nd February, the group will be collectively completing as many kilometres as possible at the gym using the bikes, treadmills and rowing machines to complete the equivalent of the Coast to Coast ‘Two Moors Way’ walk! We will continue this over the following two weeks (if needed).

The Two Moors Way spans 164 kilometres from Ivybridge on the south border of Dartmoor National Park to Lynmouth on the North Devon coast in Exmoor National Park.
