Friends,

The Syrian conflict is having a devastating impact on thousands of people living in Syria. Having been deeply moved by this humanitarian catastrophe we decided to run the Istanbul marathon to raise funds to be contributed to the alleviation of suffering in this war-torn country.

All funds donated in support of our run will go to "Hand in Hand for Syria" – a non-political organisation funded by individual donations. Hand in Hand for Syria provides medical and humanitarian assistance to civilians affected by this war from providing ambulances, equipment and medicine to field hospitals in Syria to supplying food, shelter and warm blankets and clothing to those left without homes.

Please do not be indifferent to the extreme suffering of thousands of innocent people and give as generously as you can!
