Hi all - its Adam, Aoife, Lisa, Naomi and Stephen here and together we make up 'Newtownabbey's Fit'. As five Social Worker's from Newtownabbey FSIT, we will be running the relay in this years Belfast City Marathon. We are running in aid of Lighthouse.

Lighthouse is a mental health charity committed to the prevention of suicide and self harm, the promotion of positive mental health and the provision of services to families affected by suicide.

We have seen, both professionally and personally, the devastating effects of suicide, self harm and poor mental health on people and their families. Mental health is becoming much more prevalent, and by doing this marathon, we are hoping that we can enable Lighthouse to continue to be that beacon of hope in the local community - making a difference and saving the lives of people who need it the most.
