In the Summer of 2014 I have been chosen to do something great this summer and this is to volunteer in Puerto Vallarta in Mexico for 4 weeks with Two-Birds. We are going to offer our time in making a difference this summer for the children of the RISE, Projecto Pitillal, Sendero, CEA and their partner organisation.

These non-profit projects support children who have been abandoned, abused or orphaned. Many have traumatic pasts and suffer disabilities, social and behavioural difficulties and this is where we come in to make a difference. 

What this will involve: 

This will involve working closely with children in 4 different camps: a children's refuge, a disability centre, a sports camp and a young girls refuge. It will enable me to make a positive difference in that space of time allowing these children to have an experience that everyone should rightly receive in childhood.
