People who spoke to me after my half marathon may have heard me say that I never wanted to run that distance again. I spent a couple of days unable to walk as I was so sore. Less than a year later, and I have booked myself in to run double the distance! The full marathon represents exactly the opposite of what my genes and athletics training lend me towards (200m sprint). This makes it a very real challenge, physically and mentally.

Please give generously, I will be training for 18 weeks and a lot of hard work is going to go into this. My only target as of yet is to finish the race, hopefully in under 5 hours.
