Story
I'm riding the Tour Aotearoa in 2023 (http://www.touraotearoa.nz/p/home.html) and I've created this page to make a difference.
If you are too lazy to click the link, the TA is a brevet (a tour not a race) following a set course, that runs from Cape Reinga in the North to Bluff in the South, over 3000km. It takes in a lot of back country NZ on the way, so it's a mix of on road, on gravel and singletrack riding. Unsupported.
I got as far as Whanganui in February, but had to pause due to an injured knee. I'm starting again in late October and aiming to finish something before mid-November. You can track my progress in real time (https://touraotearoa2024.maprogress.com/?bib=NRB) and I'll endeavor to post a daily update in Instagram (https://instagram.com/nic_bayley).
Why the Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ? Prostate Cancer is an important mens health issue in NZ, and I have to sit on the old boy for 3000km... Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
