Haven House Children's Hospice provides the best possible life for every baby, child and young person with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and their families, who live in our local communities.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.  On September 16th 2012 I will set out with Steelcase colleagues on the Pennine Way to raise funds for Haven House Children's Hopsice.

Starting at in Hawes we’ll climb the Great Shunner Fell at 2350 feet (716m), the longest continual ascent on the Pennine Way and undertake a 15 mile walk on Day 2, finishing in the village of Middleton-in-Tees 35 miles from the start point.

Haven House Children’s Hospice is a special place for special children.

They care for children and young people between the ages of 0 to 19 who have life-limiting conditions and who are unlikely to reach adulthood.

Their services include day, short break and end of life care, together with therapeutic play in the community.
