Wetwheels Foundation is a UK charity that provides barrier-free powerboat experiences for disabled and disadvantaged people, helping build confidence, inclusion, and access to the sea through safe, accessible adventures.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year I am raising money to enable Wetwheels Yorkshire, the new specially adapted, fully accessible powerboat arriving in Yorkshire this summer, to take a group of disabled children on an exciting adventure on the sea - in a way that they have never been able to do so before!  Not only will Wetwheels Yorkshire make the sea accessible to these kids but it will give them the opportunity, regardless of their impairment, to take the wheel and drive the boat for themselves.

Wetwheels Yorkshire can take up to 10 participants per trip including 3 x wheelchair users and can make two, sometimes three, trips per day.

Every £500 raised will pay for up to 30 people to enjoy this unique experience which will not only help raise confidence but also put a huge smile on a very deserving face!
