This weekend sees me on the start line of the Northern Traverse, a coast to coast ultra marathon following Alfred Wainwright's iconic 190mile long distance footpath. The route crosses the Lake District, the Peninnies and the North York Moors. It has taken a year of preparation to get me on the start line and is a great opportunity to highlight the wonderful work of The Good Life Orphanage.
