Story
This trip is meant to be of deeply catharctic nature. Hopefully interspersed with some good fun. Six weeks in a saddle should help put things in perspective. Crispin was a wise, loving and great fun to be with. I know that he wouldn't have expected anything less of me than doing something wacky on a bike whilst raising money for a very good charity ( Brain Tumour U.K ).
Three funerals and a wedding.
The last 18 months have had its ups and downs- more downs than ups. We as a family have lost 3 dear friends. Anna Buxton who was family in all but name, David Wass, my father in law and thirdly Crispin Moor my wonderful brother. So now for the ups. I am attending the wedding of a very dear friend Sue Wake who is marrying Mark Lockett in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. I first met Sue some 30 years ago whilst working on their family fruit farm. One more up is that a few days ago Hugh Verey, a really close friend and room mate from college, has decided to accompany me on this bike trip. Should be interesting! I would like to take this opportuinity to thank anyone who might like to sponser me.
