On the 8^th May 2011 I will run (and hopefully complete!) the Halstead and Essex Marathon to raise funds on behalf of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

 

In March last year my son, George, underwent major surgery at the hospital.  The incredible level of professionalism and care he received is something for which my family and I will be eternally grateful. We are not alone.  This hospital delivers truly world class care day in day out to children from all walks of life. Please read here for further information on their work.

 

So, as a small gesture of recognition and appreciation I’ll be participating in the event. Any sponsorship you feel you are able to offer really would be gratefully received and all funds we raise will contribute towards a genuinely worthy cause.
