Nicholas Rogers is raising money for The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation
Story
Hello,
On the 28th August I will be part of a team of 20
that will be pulling a Boeing 737 weighing 35,000kg along the taxiway at Hurn airport, all in the spirit of fundraising for a great local cause.
Our team has chosen to complete this for the John Thornton
Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) who encourage and support local young people to “Climb as High as they can Dream”. JTYAF was set up in memory of John Thornton, a lifelong friend of mine who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008 whilst serving for the Royal Marines. To date more than 2300 local young people along with numerous groups and whole school projects have directly benefitted from the charity.
