Story
On 16th August, 25,000 people should have been gathering in London for this year's Prudential Ride London Surrey, including me. A 100 mile ride on closed roads in London and Surrey. A lot of these people would have been raising money for deserving charities. Due to the cancellation of the event, many charities have missed out on lots of donations.
So, instead, on 15th August I'll be riding the 165 miles and over 8,000ft of elevation gain from Nottingham to South London.
I've chosen Mind because times are hard for everyone at the moment. Things aren't what we are used to and a lot of people will be finding it tough. Mental health is still a taboo subject, especially amongst men so I wanted to do my bit, use my legs and put myself through some pain to raise both awareness and some much needed money at the same time.
If you can spare a few quid, the price of a coffee, to add to the total and make it all worthwhile that would be great. Thank you.
