The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm taking part in the Brighton triathlon in September to raise money for the National Autistic Society. It's a charity close to my heart.

My amazing nephew Archie was diagnosed with the condition and struggles to do some of the things most of us take for granted.

every day is a struggle with coping with sensory overload- noise, people, school and friendships. The Lack of understanding in the world and high anxiety prove difficult to manage and cope with.

Much more awareness and research is needed for the thousands who suffer with the condition and I hope the money I raise will help Archie and others in a small way.

The Triathlon consists of a 1,500m sea swim, a 40km bike ride and a 10km run. My training has started and my aim is a top-100 finish, with a fundraising target of £2,000.

Any donation would be fantastic and will spur me on to the finish line!

Thank you in advance.

Nick
