Our mum, Joyce Osborne was admitted to Priscilla Bacon Lodge on 23rd March 2022, where she sadly died 3 days later. Her short time at PBL, highlighted the extraordinarily important work which is carried out at the hospice. The nursing and medical staff are unparalleled in their dedication, sensitivity and care.

Norfolk has one of the lowest levels of specialist palliative care provision of any English County. Commissioning guidelines indicate a requirement for 47 - 59 specialist beds, and Norfolk & Waveney currently have only 16 - all in Priscilla Bacon Lodge.

Over £10 million of the £12.5 million target to build the desperately needed new Priscilla Bacon Lodge has been raised. Ground was officially broken on the new site within the Norfolk & Norwich University hospital campus in February 2022, but help is still needed to raise the remaining £2.2 million required to complete the project as soon as possible.
