Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In June I completed my four day walk along 'The Great Glen Way' in Scotland. Wild camping along the way was truly a great experience. This was part of my adventures for the year and helping raise funds for the Great Western Air ambulance Charity
On the 17th September 8 members of Bristol Airport’s Terminal Operations team will be heading to beautiful North Wales to scale the dizzy heights of Mount Snowdon (all 3560 feet of it!!) We are a group of very mixed abilities - some have never climbed a mountain before, others have many times. But we are all agreed we want to raise vital funds for the Great Western Air Ambulance - Bristol Airport’s Charity of the Year for 2019 - and have some fun along the way!
So please everyone, spare anything you can for this very worthwhile cause. It costs over £3 million every year to keep GWAA operational. Many of us airport workers have seen them in action and they truly are lifesavers. Thank you from all of us ( Alex S, Matt, Marion, Phil, Sarah F, Jemma, Jason S, Alison, Asta and Christian, Nick P) for your support!
Further challenges that I am completing are: May: Couch to 5K, May 5th: Bristol 10K, May 14th: Snowdon climb with my Airport colleagues, June 13th: Walking the Great Glen Way, 75 Miles, June: June 27th: Climbing Snowdon again with my Airport colleagues, August 14th: 5K Tough Mudder with my Airport colleagues, August 25th Severn Bridge 10K, September 17th Climbing Snowdon again with my Airport colleagues
