Nick's running for the Hopkins ward!

Round Reading Ultra Marathon · 1 August 2020
Hello, thank you for coming to my Just Giving page!
Thank you for helping me raise £2,500 which is going to buy a new ECG machine for the Hopkins ward at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. The ward has specifically requested this vital piece of equipment.
In January last year, I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and in November was admitted to the Hopkins ward where I received excellent care in my initial recovery. The Hopkins ward specialises in looking after patients with urological care needs. The medical and nursing team, and all other staff working there are one of the main reasons that I can now contemplate running long distances, such as around Reading and the Chilterns, less than a year after their care.
If you're able to keep supporting me I'll be very grateful for as much or as little as you can afford for this great cause.
Please remember to gift-aid your donation as it does make a huge difference.
Thank you!
Nick.
