COPS is a UK charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives on duty to rebuild their lives. We aim to ensure that surviving family members have the help they need to cope with such tragedy and they remain part of the police family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been given the opportunity and felt that it would be a real honour to ride with Chapter IX of the UK Police Unity Tour. On Friday 28th July 2017 I will set off with others from Leicestershire Police Headquarters and cycle 180 miles over two days. On Sunday 30th July 2017 we will cycle with other chapters to the National Police Memorial in Alrewas Staffordshire to take part in the annual remembrance service.

We will meet with the families and friends of police officers that have died whilst on duty when we arrive at the National Memorial Arboretum. I'm sure this will be a really emotional moment and something that will mean so much to all that are there.

By doing this and with your generosity I can give something back to the families of those who gave their lives in order to protect the public, and keep their memory alive. The Care of Police Survivors charity supports families after a death on duty to help rebuild their shattered lives. They do such fantastic work and it will be so nice to contribute with your help to this very worthy cause.
