Hello time for another challenge,
Me and a good friend (Al) are going to complete a huge bike ride starting on the 14th june 2011 by riding from john o groats (highest point of scotland) to landsend (lowest point of england) which we have calculated so far to be just over 1000 miles. We hope to achieve this over 14 days and any donation we get will be donated to the marie curie cancer care. THANK YOU for reading
Marie Curie has 2,000 nurses in the UK and last year they worked for 1,200,000 hours caring for terminally ill patients, including half of all cancer patients who die at home.
They also have nine hospices and are the biggest provider of hospice beds outside the NHS. In total, Marie Curie spends over £80 million a year on providing care as well as on research and development. The figure is overwhelming, but so is the comfort that the money can provide.
Thanks again for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
