Dear Friends and Family,

I was lucky enough to be chosen to run the London Marathon for Make-A-Wish Foundation last year but then I fell pregnant. 2018 was a very special year for me as I turned 40, married the love of my life and we had a beautiful baby girl. I have always wanted to run the London Marathon so now I am back and ready for the biggest sporting challenge of my life!

I have spent a lot my career producing high end fundraising events for many charities and always felt that Make-A-Wish is a very special charity creating life changing wishes for children with critical illness.

Having suffered brain damage at the age of 6, Lloyd’s life changed forever. Following recovery and treatment Lloyd’s family got in touch with Make-A-Wish UK as Lloyd is a huge football fan and had always wanted to interview Jurgen Klopp.

I feel very blessed to have had a healthy baby daughter and this has made me appreciate even more how special this charity is.

Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They’re given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold.
