In February of this year our lives were devastated in an afternoon.

For me and my 3 children, the sudden loss of their Dad, was a shocking & heartbreaking experience.

The realisation that a young (51 year old), fit, strong man can die so suddenly from heart disease, that he didn't know he had, has been  and continues to be, a cruel lesson to us all. 

For our family & I'm sure, for many others, the vital research done by the British Heart Foundation, will help improve outcomes for people with Heart disease and hopefully help prevent it.  My personal hopes are that they will be able to identify problems earlier in someway, so that sufferers can get the treatment they need, before it's too late.

With the help of friends and family, this is what we are hoping to help with, by taking part in the BHF Blenheim 10 km run, on Sunday 6th October 2013!!!!
