Back in January 2017, my dear uni friend, Katherine (now 49) was diagnosed with mesothelioma, an incurable, rare lung cancer that is very, very aggressive. This cancer is caused by exposure to asbestos and currently has no cure. (Katherine still doesn't know where she was exposed to asbestos).

2 years on Katherine is enduring her third round of chemotherapy and has undergone a pleurectomy...

Inspired by her ongoing bravery and positive attitude I am going to run several events this year and raise money to help Mesothelioma UK research - and one day find a cure for - this horrible disease. #ResearchChangesLives
