I am supporting a charity called Violets in Bloom -   Kerry and Ivan Mornington are the very proud mummy and daddy of a beautiful little girl, Violet Lilian Mornington, they say 'they are'  with such heavy weight in their hearts that is so huge it’s impossible imagine. Why? - because their  little girl passed away on 21st July 2013 aged just 5 years old after contracting a very rare condition called Haemophagocytic  Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) as a result of Epstein Barr Virus associated Hodgkins Lymphoma.  

As part of continued support to this charity there have been a number of events to raise funds for support and counselling, research into the illness and more recently Violets parents are now fund raising for a children’s memorial garden to be created at the Local Crematorium in Fradley, Lichfield and this is the purpose of this campaign. This is a very important cause to the parents of Violet who found it difficult to find a suitable place for a memorial, and one shared by lots of parents Nationally.  In their search they didn't really seem to be anywhere in the area where parents could go to reflect, seek solace and peace as they think about their own angels. I would like to help the parents who have suffered bereavement to find that special little corner where they can escape into their own thoughts and remember.
